Sweet Potato Pup-Chews
Sweet Potato Pup-Chews are a one-ingredient, nutritious, ultra-yummy treat that will keep your dog chewing!
Ingredients
- Sweet Potatoes I choose long, thin in diameter (maybe 2ish inches) potatoes for evenly sized treats
- Cinnamon, if desired
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°F. Cover a cookie sheet/s or jelly roll pan/s with parchment.
- Set mandoline slicer to 3/16th and slice as many sweet potato rounds as you please. Or slice by hand in about 3/16th inch thickness.
- Place the sliced rounds on the parchment (not overlapping) and ideally not touching. Sprinkle with cinnamon, if desired.
- Bake for 2 hours or until dry. Check for doneness starting at about 1 hour 45 minutes.
- Cool on the baking sheet and then store in a sealed container.
Notes
Remember, using larger potatoes will require longer baking time. Treats should be fully dry when done.
